HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO US!
It’s now been 3 years since IFP officially opened its doors in December 2016 and a hell of a lot has happened in that time.
Firstly I want to say to anyone that’s been along for the journey – be it 3 days or 3 years we thankyou and hope we’ve had a positive influence on your life in one way or another!
Our primary message from the get go has been to preach the importance of incorporating exercise into people’s lives on a consistent and long term basis. This is when and ONLY when the results will come.
We have an extremely important job to do as we have the health and welfare of people in the palms of our hands and it’s something we certainly do not take for granted. We take this very seriously.
This is about your life and living it to your fullest potential.
There is no such thing as a quick fix when it comes to your health and fitness. It takes time and dedication. It takes a commitment to yourself and the life you want to live. You only have one chance at living. Roughly about 80 years of it. Don’t take it for granted because you’ll soon find out if you aren’t investing in yourself, your body and health won’t be returning dividends anytime soon.
Still, there’s a lot of people out there that can’t wrap their head around the fact they have to exercise and eat well for the rest of their lives to get the results they really want.
It blows me away the mindset and attitude a huge percentage of the population still have towards their training and purpose and importance of it all. They simply just don’t get it.
We are here to help but in order for us to do that we need to be honest and upfront with you.
For those of you that aren’t aware here’s a little insight into how our morals dictate the way we run our business….
IFP sacrifices it’s growth as a business short term because honesty and integrity to our members are the most important business values we possess.
What I mean by that is we could easily ‘sell’ a whole heap of bullshit and unfulfilled promises just to make a dollar but that’s not what we’re about. We care.
We feel like we are the good guys and the majority of gyms out there are the bad guys. It’s us vs them and our job is to help people realise this.
We’re unfortunately in an industry where there is a lot of mixed messages, lies, deceit and a huge lack of duty of care towards the general population. There are too many ‘fitness professionals’ out there selling absolute rubbish with the sole objective not of the welfare of members, but the revenue they rake in.
This is the challenge we face on a daily basis but we are more determined than ever to get out message across, change people’s lives and help you see through the bullshit that other gyms spin to suck you in.
IFP is all about our members. Day in day out you’ll have us there for you rain, hail or shine. We will challenge you. We will educate you. We will motivate you. We will find out what makes you tick. We will listen to you.
IFP turning 3 is just another little milestone that we are extremely proud of. 3 years represents us doing our utmost to buck the trend and help you realise the importance of your own health.
We aren’t sure how long it will take to get the message across to everyone but we are going to die trying to do it. That’s just what we do.
‘’If you have a body, we can help you’’
